Wireless Self-Service Kiosks Speed Passenger Check-In
The new quick check-in kiosk system at Sea-Tac Airport allows passengers to print boarding passes before even entering the terminal. Passengers with no luggage can go straight from the kiosk to the security checkpoint without stopping at the ticket counter. The quick check-in kiosks are located on the fourth floor of the garage at the entrances to Skybridges 2-6.

Hola Mexico City
Aeromexico now offers daily, non-stop flights to Mexico City with continuing service to Guadalajara. "We welcome Aeromexico to the Northwest," said Port of Seattle Commission President John Creighton. "Mexico City is an important destination for business and leisure travelers from the Puget Sound area."

Pour it On - Third Runway Takes Shape
Concrete pouring has begun on a new parallel runway, connecting taxiways, aircraft exits, and utilities. The new runway will be 8,500 feet long and 17 inches thick.

Celebrate Shilshole - New Slips Open Fall 2007
With only five docks left to install, construction should be complete by early 2008, including removing creosote soaked pilings and replacing them with floating concrete piers. The remodeled marina will have 1,410 slips, enhanced small boat/sailing center, new public areas and children's play fountain, new retail space, and a new restaurant. Port 101 Series Wins AAPA Award of Excellence
The Port 101 Series received the American Association of Port Authorities Award of Excellence, the highest level of recognition in any one category, as part of their 2007 Communications Awards. The purpose of the competition is to recognize excellence in the products, programs and services that ports produce to meet their public relations and marketing goals. The entries were judged by an independent board of public relations and marketing communications professionals. The Port plans another great year of Port 101 offerings this fall.
