The Port of Seattle Commission voted to approve Resolution 3605 which makes sweeping changes to how the Commission delegates its authority throughout the organization. The new framework strengthens commission oversight of the Port’s capital construction programs and clarifies when and how staff members must gain the body’s approval on Port projects.

In December 2007, the Washington State Auditor's Office released results of a performance audit on the Port of Seattle's capital program, identifying 51 recommendations. In response, the Port has defined numerous action steps and is committed to making improvements to its processes. Reports are published approximately every two weeks, corresponding to regular Commission meeting days. Please check back often to track our progress.
