The Port of Seattle Lost and Found office is located in the central part of the Main Terminal at Sea-Tac Airport, up on the Mezzanine Level, Room 6016.

Items found in the airport terminal, parking garage or drive areas are stored securely for 30 days before disposition.

For items lost or left on an airplane, please contact your airline.

The YWCA provides Lost and Found management.

Report Lost Property

Please use our online form to report any items lost in the Airport Terminal, Airport Garage or drive areas.

If you think the item was stolen, you also may want to file a stolen property report with the Port of Seattle Police Department by calling (206) 431-3490.

How Are Found Items Claimed and Returned?

The Lost and Found staff will secure all found items and make every effort to research and locate potential owners. You may arrange for the return of items by:

  • On-site pickup: If you properly identify items, you may pick them up during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. We require picture ID at time of pick up. You may pre-arrange after-hours pick up by calling (206) 433-5312 during business hours of the day you would like to pick up your item. Representatives of the owners may pick up items with proper identification and verified permission of owners.
  • Federal Express With approved credit cards or a FedEx account, the Lost and Found Office can prepare items for shipment Monday - Friday before 3:30 p.m.
  • U.S. Mail The Lost and Found Office can return small items via U.S. Mail, if you forward a self-stamped mailing container to the Lost and Found Office.
  • Other delivery companies If you prefer shipment by a company other than those identified above, please arrange the shipment directly with your preferred company, and provide proper notification to the Port of Seattle Lost and Found. When notified, Lost and Found staff will prepare your item for shipment.

Please note: The Lost and Found Office holds items 30 days from the date of receipt.

Each airline is responsible for items found on its planes. Please contact the airline directly to determine its lost and found policies and procedures.
